Thyroid is one of the most important endocrine gland which secretes thyroxine hormone which is responsible for our basal metabolic rate (BMR). Sometimes thyroid may enlarge due to goiter or malignancies which may require its removal. Complications like damage to recurrent laryngeal nerve (nerve related to voice) can occur. Parotid Surgery

Parotid is the most important salivary gland lying in the cheek area responsible for production of saliva. It may enlarge due to benign or malignant tumours or sometimes stones may form in their ducts requiring removal. Latest techniques like sialo-endoscopy, basket retrieval of stones are being employed at our center. These techniques assure removal of stones without glandular damage.
